On the 16. of March 3013 Chances for Nature held their first symposia about Nature and Species Conservation. Members of CfN reported about our projects in Peru and Madagascar. Moreover, three invited speaker talked about their projects in species conservation. Among them Jörg Adler, Director of the Zoo Münster, talking about a successful translocation project of CatBa Langurs in Vietnam, Paul Hotham of Flora, Fauna International (FFI), who gave insights about their projects to protect the Snow Lepoard in Kyrgyztan and Tadzhikistan, and finally Roland Wirth of the Zoologische Gesellschaft für Arten- und Populationsschutz (ZGAP) who presentes his perspective about the general issue of the loss of species in our time.
